The Karmann Ghia has such a classic look and loved by so many VW folks. But they were prone to rust and the nose got damaged very easily. Sure metal replacement parts are available, but the price is too high! One piece fiberglass front ends have been around forever, but they do not fit right, you lose the trunk and unless your building a race car, it ruins the value of your Ghia. 20 years ago we came up with a better Ghia Front Clip, and they are still the best solution today. Each Fender is made separate, as is the Nose, this makes for easier fitting and shipping is less. The parts have a flange on the underside, so they bolt together and are bonded together before the install. The seam is an easy fill and since no openings for the grill or headlights are made, you can use factory headlights or go with something different. We like the idea of pleasing the stock guys and also the custom people. Once it is painted you cannot tell that the parts are fiberglass.
