One of our biggest complaints with VW, is when they put all that plastic on the Ghia or Type 3 dash, and of course it all cracks! Our Classic Dash is like you removed all the plastic junk and filled all the holes, but we did it all for you! We do NOTpre-drill any holes, so you can use factory gauges or go with new gauges. There are 2 studs bonded to the back of the dash, that bolt over your old metal dash. It goes all the way to the windshield rubber and conforms nice. You can notch open the vents if you like. The Classic Dash can be painted or upholstered. We also have a Classic Console that complements the dash. You will have to remove the ash tray. We carry the full line of VDO gauges, and the new GPS Speedometer. See it on our site. Made in USA.
