Seems the rear apron is the first thing to get banged up, so replacing it with our Fiberglass Apron takes care of 2 issues. First the exhaust holes are filled in. Second the apron can be unbolted for easier removal of your engine. You will need to drill out the spot welds of your old apron, then ours will bolt in. Our apron is pieces bonded together, so you have the area around the engine tin. This Late Style Apron fits 1968 and newer Bugs, including all Supers, you can install our Early Style Apron on a Later Bug if you like to use an older Deck Lid. Made in USA.
